Sensory awareness

We take our senses for granted. They are just there and we often don't absorb the information as well as we could.

I understood and properly 'saw' a painting by Vincent Van Gogh today. It was not just seeing but an overwhelming emotional epiphany which left me humbled, awestruck and in tears.
